Canon 22 A self-mutilator may not become a cleric

He who has mutilated himself, let him not become a cleric; for he is himself his own murderer, and an enemy of God's creation.
Ὁ ἀκρωτηριάσας ἑαυτὸν μὴ γινέσθω κληρικός· αὐτοφονευτὴς γάρ ἐστιν ἑαυτοῦ, καὶ τῆς τοῦ Θεοῦ δημιουργίας ἐχθρός.
