Canon 29 Deposition for ordination obtained through money
Ἱεροὶ Κανόνες τῶν Ἁγίων καὶ Πανσέπτων Ἀποστόλων

If any bishop obtains this dignity through money, or a presbyter, or a deacon, let him be deposed, both he and the one who ordained him, and let him be cut off altogether from communion as well, as Simon the magician was by me, Peter.
Εἴ τις ἐπίσκοπος διὰ χρημάτων τῆς ἀξίας ταύτης ἐγκρατὴς γένοιτο, ἢ πρεσβύτερος, ἢ διάκονος, καθαιρείσθω καὶ αὐτός, καὶ ὁ χειροτονήσας, καὶ ἐκκοπτέσθω παντάπασι καὶ τῆς κοινωνίας, ὡς ὁ Σίμων ὁ μάγος ὑπ᾿ ἐμοῦ Πέτρου.
