Canon 37 Synods of bishops twice a year
Ἱεροὶ Κανόνες τῶν Ἁγίων καὶ Πανσέπτων Ἀποστόλων

Let a synod of the bishops be held twice in the year, and let them examine with one another the doctrines of piety, and let them settle the ecclesiastical disputes that arise: once in the fourth week of Pentecost, and a second time on the twelfth of Hyperberetaeus.
Δεύτερον τοῦ ἔτους σύνοδος γινέσθω τῶν ἐπισκόπων, καὶ ἀνακρινέτωσαν ἀλλήλοις τὰ δόγματα τῆς εὐσεβείας, καὶ τὰς ἐμπιπτούσας ἐκκλησιαστικὰς ἀντιλογίας διαλυέτωσαν· ἅπαξ μέν, τῇ τετάρτῃ ἑβδομάδι τῆς Πεντηκοστῆς· δεύτερον δέ, Ὑπερβερεταίου δωδεκάτῃ.
