Ss. Constantine & Helen

Emperor Constantine the Great and his mother, Empress Helena, both venerated as 'Equal to the Apostles.' Helena traveled to the Holy Land (c. 326-328) and discovered the True Cross on Golgotha. She built the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem and the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. Feast: May 21.
