Canon 22 Clerics may not seize a dead bishop's goods

It is not lawful for clerics, after the death of their own bishop, to seize the things belonging to him, as has also been forbidden by the ancient canons; otherwise those who do this are to be in peril of their own ranks.
Μὴ ἐξεῖναι κληρικοῖς μετὰ θάνατον τοῦ ἰδίου ἐπισκόπου, διαρπάζειν τὰ διαφέροντα αὐτῷ πράγματα, καθὼς καὶ τοῖς πάλαι κανόσιν ἀπηγόρευται· ἢ τοὺς τοῦτο ποιοῦντας, κινδυνεύειν περὶ τοὺς ἰδίους βαθμούς.
