Holy Baptism

The Mystery of initiation into the Church through triple immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Death and resurrection with Christ (Romans 6:3-4). Baptism forgives all previous sins and unites the person to the Body of Christ. Orthodoxy practices infant baptism, followed by Chrismation and first Communion.
