St. Porphyrios of Kavsokalyvia (1906-1991)

Greek elder and spiritual father, clairvoyant saint of the 20th century. Known for his emphasis on the love of God over fear of the devil: 'Don't fight evil. Focus on loving Christ, and evil will vanish by itself.' Known for the spiritual gift of discernment and healing. Canonized in 2013. Feast: December 2.
