Pentecost & the Birth of the Church
Fifty days after the Resurrection, the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles in Jerusalem (Acts 2). Considered the birthday of the Church. The Apostles received power to preach the Gospel in all languages, and about 3,000 were baptized that day.
