Pneumatology (Holy Spirit)

The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity, proceeding from the Father alone (John 15:26). The Spirit is co-eternal and consubstantial with the Father and Son. Orthodoxy rejects the Filioque addition ('and the Son') to the Creed as a Western innovation that distorts Trinitarian theology.
