Second Ecumenical Council: Constantinople I (381)
Affirmed the divinity of the Holy Spirit against the Pneumatomachians (Spirit-fighters). Completed the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed. Declared Constantinople second in honor after Rome (Canon 3). 150 bishops attended.
