Holy Tradition

The living transmission of the faith from the Apostles through the Church. Includes Scripture, the Ecumenical Councils, the writings of the Church Fathers, liturgical practice, canon law, and iconography. Scripture is part of Tradition, not separate from it. The Holy Spirit guides the Church in preserving Tradition.
