Fifth Ecumenical Council: Constantinople II (553)
Condemned the 'Three Chapters' (writings sympathetic to Nestorianism). Sought to reconcile Chalcedonian and non-Chalcedonian Christians. Reaffirmed Christological teaching. Convened by Emperor Justinian.
